Welcome!
I am a Human-Centered and Responsible AI expert, specialized in stakeholder management, user needs elicitation and AI governance processes.
Being design-centric, technology driven and product-minded allows me to work on the sweet spot of AI product development, bringing different perspectives together through human-centered design. Through my passion for tangible change and a robust foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of AI, my profile enables me to influence policies and practices that ensure AI serves as a force for the public good.
My journey is marked by a unique blend of industry experience, academic diligence, and governmental domain knowledge, positioning me at the forefront of Responsible and Human-Centered AI. Currently, I work as a PhD Research Fellow in the Information Systems department at the University of Agder in Norway.
Design Thinking Foundation
Focusing on the needs and experiences of different stakeholders throughout the AI lifecycle is the bedrock of responsible AI design. Human-Centered Design Thinking, utilizing iterative processes like empathy, ideation, and testing. This ensures AI solutions are equitable, accessible, and aligned with human values, enhancing user satisfaction and promoting fairness in AI outcomes.
Human-Centered AI
Human-Centered AI (HCAI) focuses on understanding purposes, human
values and desired AI properties in the creation of AI systems by applying
Human-Centered Design practices. HCAI seeks to augment human
capabilities while maintaining human control over AI systems, by
considering the necessity, context, and ethical and legal conditions of the AI
system as well as promoting individual and societal well-being.
AI Governance Processes
AI governance describes processes, policies, and tools to bring a diverse range of stakeholders together. This collaborative approach ensures that AI systems are developed, implemented and managed, to maximize benefits while mitigating risks. The alignment of business objectives, legal standards, and ethical principles enables responsible oversight throughout the entire lifecycle of AI systems.
